To kick off the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness month on 1 October we organised a fascinating discussion all about breast cancer treatment past, present and future with leading breast cancer specialist Professor Michael Baum.

Professor Michael Baum has had a key influence on how breast cancer is treated and managed. He recently co-developed a pioneering new breast cancer therapy which replaces weeks of long treatment with just one shot of radiotherapy in a single 20-30 minute hospital visit.

He also happens to be our founder Katie Taylor’s father!
